This page is intended to inform you about how STYLE High Tech handles personal information they obtain via the Internet website. When processing personal data, the Data Protection Act (DPA) are followed. This law helps to protect the privacy of citizens.

The Data Protection Act 

Since September 1, 2001, the Data Protection Act (DPA) came into force. This law explains the rights of someone whose information is used and the duties of the agencies or companies that use data. The WBP also apply to data processed through the website of STYLE High Tech. This means that personal data which via the Internet is collected, stored, used, or any other form made available, linked together, is covered  by this law.

What is personal data?

Personal data is defined as a given fact that can be traced to an identified or identifiable natural person. This means that the name of a person to whom the information relates is known, or that the person can be identified. An example of personal data is a name of a person or a home address, also e-mail addresses can be personal considered as personal data.

How does STYLE High Tech handle your personal information?

Your data is handled in a proper and careful manner in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This means that in some instances we will ask your permission to process your personal data. Furthermore, your personal data will be solely used for the purpose you have it provided. This means that if you enter your name and address to receive certain information, these data can not be used to send other information (except when indicated). It also means that your information will not be used for other purposes, such as forwarding of newsletters. However, data can be used for detection when through the website criminal offenses are committed or statements are made (or other exceptions listed in Article 43 Data Protection Act).

And so-called cookies?

The websites of STYLE High Tech use cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on your hard disk is stored by a server and is only recognized by the server that stored the cookie. A cookie allows our server to recognize that you have returned to a specific page on our site. A cookie does not record personal information such as name, address, telephone number, email address or other things that you as a person to be traced. We use cookies or similar devices during your visit to our website to gather information, including your IP address (a number that is assigned to your computer whenever you surf the Internet), the date and time of your visit to the site.
